So you can't get to Windows at all then? Where does the error occur? During Windows load or GRUB or LILO load? Can you get to Ubuntu then?

i can get to ubuntu as when my pc boots up it asks me what operating system i want to use. then i can load up ubuntu. The problem occurs when i try and boot up with windows then it goes from the loading screen to the stop error oxo7b (or the blue screen of death)
