At the moment myself and my brother share our music collections (in separate locations, 200 miles away) but as we're each running out of space would it be sensible to build a high storage headless Linux box for this purpose? It would be left on 24/7 to be accessible via the internet by me, his desktop PC, and the laptop in the same house his desktop and laptop in the same house, and via the internet by me. We'd also look in to using it as a bit of a makeshift torrent seedbox. Data backup etc. are all important. Would we be better off just going for a NAS?
Yup, with all the goverment agents out there threatening to cut your internet its like walking into an airport shouting you have a bomb in your briefcase
Well then lemme adjust my comment... its like running into an airport with potential explosion material claiming you're not gonna use it to blow anything up
