I have ended up with a few Parts such as Mobo, HD etc, I have them all carefully placed in a big shoe box, Will they be ok in this or is there a better way to store them?

    Thanks:thumb:

Keep boards in an antistatic bag if you have them, and it's a good idea to store manuals and driver discs with them.

    Shoe boxes = Cheesecake

A local PC shop should provide you with some for free. OEM builders get thousands of the things.

dont be too tempted to sling them into a handy ikea plastic tub, plastic usually means evil static energy! ah! even tho you'll be surprised at what sort of abuse hardware can take.

I've seen people handle hardware as if its an extremely sensitive biological bomb about to go off at any time. Its all a little funny!

Cardboard and anti static for the win!

DUDE how BIG are your FEET!!!!

Try to keep the original boxes just in case of RMA, unless you wear Size 18 EEEE sneakers like Whitlog.

I find shoe boxes good for storing graphics cards and HDD's, i tend to keep the motherboard boxes as there very handy.

Anyone else notice that the amount of spare bits/unused mounting hardware/manuals/driver CDs left over from a build fits perfectly in a PSU box?

I've tucked them all into my mobo box, it's a tight fit, but they do indeed fit.
