100% you just sign a piece of paper "promising" to sign up when you get home

like i said before they haven't done anything to any of the thousands of people who bought them and unlocked them.
    You worry too much!

It's about as legally binding as my left toe, you get to take what you signed with you as they don't keep it.

If you really want, i'll buy one and sell it you unlocked for £200?!

Buy it from the o2 store and they dont even take your details, carphone warehouse wanted my address!

Buy from o2, all you do is pay for it, walk home, and you're supposed to set up the contract when you get home, but you dont.
You unlock it with ziphone and stick whichever sim you want in it, if your allready on o2 contract, slap that in.

I'm seriously tempted now the price has dropped but rather wait for a 3g, and its still a bit too big for me!

Ive brought it this after noon, its a lovely bit of kit.

I used ziphone straight away and used the all-in-one function. Took 3mins and happily using my o2 sim on it.

I do have a few questions, hiw come my sim contacts dont show up? also how do i add apps & ringtones to the phone?

Any hints or links would be handy

@Fev: you sir are a evil genius, thanks for the info.

why thanks, evil yes, genius... maybe

Sim contacts and iphone are a no go, unless you use installer (which was installed with ziphone) to download a program to do it. I have all my contacts synced into outlook so i let iTunes transfer mine for me.

Looks like ziphone didnt install the installer, so im setting it back to stock and udating to 1.1.4 and then doing the process again.

shame about the whole sim contacts issue.
