I get £2997/year (cheapskates could have at least rounded it up!), so that goes on rent, books and cigarettes. Still live at home, so food is already paid for.
Don't forget to pick up your hardship loan forms in a couple of weeks people. Just write down (accompanied by some bills and statements) that your outgoings are > £20 more than your incomings per week, and you get another £500 (gets added to borrowed loan total). Once you've got that £500. A little while later (weeks gents, not hours ) when you've spent that, you get to claim a further £500. Only this one's the hardship fund, and that's gratuite.
i ave no incomings, but im hardly a hardship case. I can get by on my loan, easily i think (since my parents pay rent/tuition) ! is this ethically correct ?
so i get a grand but only have to pay £500 back!? back of the net //heads down the student finance office
i dont have a loan -- in fact i only have a £200 overdraft.. i feel that i dont want to borrow money as it will only keep me down later on when i start to earn,
Update- Im STILL waiting fro my student loan !I need it to pay rent etc and its getting very annoying
spent half of my loan already, the only thing i have to show for it is a beer belly and a new bag lol. Think im going to have to go job hunting soon
