Disaster Stuped Keyboard!!!

    I just had gotten a brand new Hi-VAL CD - R/RW Drive for $50.00 after $20.00 MFR Mail-in rebate, and had installed it and I fired up the computer and I didn't even get a post!!!:waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: so I tryed untill 10:00 that night, Still with the same crap, NO POST!!!. And in the morning, I forget to bring the Keyborad from my bed room because me and my dad were trying to get it to boot downstirs and look at it better. I booted it with no monitor or keytboard and it started in windows Fine!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: My friend got me a new keyboard untill I took the dead one back to the store and they replaced it becuase it was part of the computer package I had gotten a few months ago.:thumb: :thumb:

    At the time I had an Intell PII at 233MHz with 64 MB of ram with win 98SE with a 6GB Maxtor HDD. now I have it with XP Pro and a Wester Digital 1.70GB HDD as a secondary system to my AMD K7T Pro at 700MHz With Win XP Pro and 381 MB of ram and 1 10 GB Maxtor HDD and The PII's 6GB as a seconday HDD.:p :lol: :lol:

    :eyebrow: how do you know it had booted with no visual or input means, the bios would have said no keyboard present?

    How could a keyboard not let you use a cdrom drive?:eyebrow:

    DOH!

    I know that it had booted because the HDD makes a werid clicking sound as it boots into windows. and yes, English is my first languange, the spelling is because I type fast and I don't always hit the right key. I put this post to find out if anyone has had this or a simulare problem. Thanks!:waah: :waah: :clap: :clap: :nono: :rock:
