Just took delivery of my new Sonata case, and upon unwrapping it... the front door fell off. The stupid upper hinge got b0rked somehow. I don't want to RMA the whole damn case... meh, I was planning on modding it eventually anyhow. Just annoyed and venting, I guess. Maybe Antec will send me a replacement door.
Ask the company to pay for it, it's their bad packaging after all, unless the courier had a field day with it... <A88>
Mod plans or not, you paid for a complete, unbroken product. Either get a replacement or get your money. If you don't get onto them for poor packaging/quality assurance, them they'll never improve.
if you ordered direct from antec, they're liable to replace the door free of charge, unless its the pin that holds the door on thats broken
I ordered from ncix.com -- for the record, I've sent them thousands of my hard-earned dollars and I've never had a problem with their shipping. However, I sent an e-mail to Antec support explaining what happened and within an hour the replied asking for an address to ship a replacement door to. Color me impressed!
No kidding! Being mailed out tomorrow... I expected to have to fight through some stupid RMA processes through the store I bought the case at and blah, blah, blah. I know I'll recommend Antec from now on!
