I know what you meen by that. My brother thinks he has the right to everyones things. hehe, he went and used my computer while I was at work. Without my permision, as he will usually do when stealing (read: borrowing something of mine without the intent of giving it back) of mine. me at work needing a file on my home machine, I simply just VNC'd into my home machine.. and hey.. he was playing gta: vice city. So I messed with his head for a while. ie, blowing up cars, jerking the mouse up and down. when he was on a superbike, I swerved him into an oncoming car stuff like that. for about an 1.5 hours. He then exited and fired up outlook expres. I then promtly exited that and fired up notepad. told him to **** off, and leave my computer alone cuz I am the deveil talkin to you (or somethin like that. But he and my parents are rather spiritual.) I know.. I am mean... but really, I wasn't was I? Sorry for that small thread hijack Hwulex.
Which area of Manchester is this out of interest? Sorry for dragging up an old post, just looking for student houses in Manchester at the moment
maby u could get a student as a pet They can be rather vicous, don't need feading or watering. Get a computer science / maths stuedent then just give them a PC they will never leave, and with the right lighting a 5foot pasty 40kg nerd can look quite scary.
I hope those theiving Bast***s get bummed by a big hairy guy with many diseases I know the feeling, but thankfully not being in the room next door. My house (parents) was burgled a day before we got back from holiday, with my bothers PS2 + 23 games, all my mothers jewellery, plus my 2 debit cards. Unfortunately they were oportunisted as we live in a nice village and have never needed an alarm. Plus my grandparents game around everyday to make the house looked lived in. They emptied £300 off one of my cards, then rinsed another £400 from my student account But they did that by getting cashback at petrol stations and supermarkets. I got info from the banks about transactions, then the police caught the not so little s***s from the CCTV at the local tesco. Plus they raided some homes a few months later and got the PS2+ gamews back Couldn't agree more. As guns are illegal here, after uni when i get my first house / flat i intend to get a nice .22, 39 magazine, CO2 pistol. O ye, and a nice katana too
Dang! I hate it when I find a thread I want to reply to with helpful info, and it turns out to be over a year old! Arg Renters insurance owns me. $10 a month for $20,000 in covarage.
Damn, that really sucks man! Really scary that u were in the next room! If I were you I would place my expensive equipment somewhere else. Under your bed or something. Also a simple alarm system would be usefull! I remember that they broke into the house of a friend. And only took some small things. But they came back a month later and took just about everything of value. Computers, laptop, tv, av-equipment and even kitchen appliances. They have a huge alarm system and a big dog now.. but now is a bit late. I hope they catch them! L
