Ok i left my mouse on the floor, and about an hour later. I found my dog was layed all over it. and when i turned my monitor back on the icons where like this. Coloured in, not transparant , ive looked in display, accesability and cannot find how to fix it. I know theres a simple solution where is it?
Right click your desktop >> Properties >> Themes (first one) >> Select Windows XP from the drop-down menu. You'll have to redo your background and any skins and icons you have, but that's the only way I've ever gotten it to sort out.
properties of my computer > advanced tab > performance settings > down at the bottom use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop
Its been like this for a few months, i couldnt be bothered with it until now, otherwise i woulda system restored,
Change your background to a jpeg - it does that with any background with transparency in it. If it is a jpeg alredy, then I would have suggested what Go4t has. - H.
