I am looking for a <£100 budget gaming graphics card.

    I have found the
ati 5670 and the nvidia 250gts

I'm currently in the red camp but CPC recommend the 250 for a budget card.

    Any suggestions?

I forgot to add the budget card would be great if it could run on a basic 300w (though if not I will buy a new 400w one)

    ya that is a problem:sigh:
Try go for either the 4850 or the 250 the 5670 is very underpowered for gaming

Im hoping somebody will answer the power question, Although im running a 4850 on my little brothers system with that power supply. No the 512mb on is ok the 1 gb will be a small bit more powerfull. but in my opinion not worth it especially at anything under 1680 x 1050.
This one has a slight more capeable cooler but is a small bit more expensive, but if quitness isnt important save the cash

To the OP: What's your monitor resolution?

At the moment I'd recommend this GTS 250.

If you don't mind ebay (although i'm certainly not recommending it), for that budget you can pick up a 4890 sometimes or a decent 4870 at least...

In which case, I stick with the card I chose. I feel the 1GB VRAM will better serve you.

A 400W PSU SHOULD be fine in theory but a 500+W one will give you a safety buffer.

GTS 250 is your best bet... not much difference between that and a 4850 tbh.

I would recomend a 8800 gtx tht's what i use. eventhough its old, its cheap and still plays games with decent frame rates. Depends what ur using it for.

Not a bad option I suppose... but if you've got £100 to play with I would get the best you can get. But then as Gothic says, depends what your using it for. If you're not into many games then it would be a waste and an 8800 would be a better option.

The 5750 is around £100 on scan . The 1GB is just over ... and that's the one you'll need. It is faster than the 8800/9800/250/4850 in just about anything you care to mention. Current generation, low power, etc.

    Can you stretch to that??
