Today when I woke up I could sense that something horrible was going on. I entered bit-tech, and made a horrible discovery. The animated smileys were no longer animated! The crying dude just sat there with a sad look on his face, the guy who claps in the air was tired from having stretched his arms for five hours straight and the jawdrop guy and the worried smiley just look terrified. For some reason, the eyebrow smiley smiles. I guess he is optimistic.
What can I do to help them get their animations back?

Of course I could do that, but when I know that smileys are able to be animated in IE, I would like to know why they suddenly stopped like that.

You should know better about what forum to post things in, Bard...

Moving to feedback, where there just so happens to be another thread about this.

Are ya having problems with other gif's? If so are ya using Zone Alarm?

No, no, it's not just when I insert a smiley they stop. Every smiley in every post I read is stopped. I'm not using ZoneAlarm, but I am, however, using Proxomitron. But I have used it for a couple of weeks now without this problem occurring.

Sorry Penski (i did it to give you some extra work).

But sheardjr, why hasn't this bug come before now? Why did it come on a random day?

And in an other forum I hang on, the smileys work as they shall. That forum is also powered by vBulletin.
(Can it be the milk of the thousand camels that is causing it?)

I think the mods have been 'stealthed', some of them don't seem to be in white anymore...

There's been a little shake up in the way the mods are organised, I'll leave it to RTT to explain :)

Not the place to be posting that
Common sense tells you that if you can see the 'extra' forums, then you're still a moderator...
