You can't overstay your welcome here It's what we're here for. But if you feel badly about posting so much, check the sticky, as it contains plenty of links for people from beginner to expert. Also you can contact me if you want to talk to me outside the boards.
and btw, linux in general is like saying i wanna learn windows (kinda) there are different platforms, so do research on whichever platform you think will best suit you (slack is good) then read up on it. gl
Set up a dedicated Linux box of whatever distro you choose and start playing. You can't ruin something that doesn't matter.
Can't learn anything worth learning if you don't break it a few times first... Jump right in... We'll all help you keep your head above the water. well ive got linux mandrake 9.0 on my main box i no longer got window ive broken it a few times trying to network with windows machines i wanna play games on there but if i cant ill just install win98 on a 10Gb i have i basiclly wanna learn how to use it properly and not **** up coz my Wd 80Gb is fooked and im pist off so yea edit:/ and bee i no every windows back wards cept NT i even have a p90 with dos shell on it
****. Good luck with Mandrake, And if your wanting to install 98 for WineX, Iwould recommend not doing so, as WineX will work better under emulated install. Saying that, good luck getting WineX to work properly at all, as it can be a real bitch.
