Summer Festivals 2006

    The European festival circuit is approaching soon, and will engulf us with its mass amount of awesome bands playing! So, what, if any, summer festivals are people planning on going to? And Im not on about single day "festivals" (like pretty much every one in the states), but full blown 3/4 day music festivals with the greatness of camping?

    Im going to Download (UK) in June, Wacken (GER) in August, and Reading Festival (UK) in August. There's a possibility of one more, depending on money and exams, which could be either Novarock (Austria), Graspop (Belgium) or With Full Force (Germany).

    I really want to go to Wacken but I don't think it's going to be feasible. Isle of Wright music festival seems to be on the cards at the moment though.

    I'd do Leeds like I usually do but I'm gonna be on holiday. I wanna try hit the Wireless Festival (Saturday, Leeds) for some Shadowage.

    Yeah its quite annoying the timing of Download. Hopefully Ill be able to go to my Physics exam/s in the morning of Friday, trek it up to Donington for the weekend, come home either Sunday night (dont like Guns N Roses) or Monday morning, revise like hell for tuesday, then have another exam on the Wednesday.

    Jackpot!

    we camp at the back of yellow, well technically in brown cos it doesnt get trashed on sunday nite! :p

    I'm doing download and Wacken, i'd liked to of have gone to the maryland deathfest, but i cant afford plane tickets and accomodation...

    I remember yellow camp last year, we found this fat guy and sellotaped pork pies to him, that was fun... and the idiots that chucked the gas canisters on the fire and made the stewards loose it...

    I didnt like reading though, so i'm giving it a miss.
