My brother is looking for some LEDs for a mod to his leccy scooter, but wants some Sunbeam LED lights; Anyone know a UK retailer?

He's 15. They dont look that bad actually, its a little rice-boy-esk but "acceptable" cause they are underneath, like NFSU cars. We need to find a 12v power source too.

Bindi; $2 Worldwide shipping and a wee bit more soldering. Better to pay a pound for 3 and shipping then five pound for 3 in a case.

Yea, but the one i want requires no soldering, is self contained and rubber coated to resist the bumps and scratches it's gonna take. Also, these are daisy-chain-able, and are perfect for what he wants them for.

    No-one knows then? Bugger.

An injection of enthusiasm on our part might be more suited.

An underglow is illegal in the UK AFAIK - my m8 tried to get someone to do it but no1 would, but then again he might have just been making it up :D .

I was thinking other type of scooter (petrol one) :wallbash: but as hes only 15 and you need a power source its probably not one of them.

Tried ebuyer, but not fleetwood. Will do ta :)

He's already had cathodes underneath it but the batteries died and they were too fragile (even in plastic covers), and yea, he wants it with minimal fuss and effort. He's bought a mini lead acid battery for 12v so that's fine, he was using 2x 7.4v RC batteries before and no, he hasnt been pulled over for an electric scooter. :p
