    I have a few questions

I want to replace the dual color LEDs on the sunbeam rheobus with some LEDs that aren't quite as bright. Anyone know the voltage that it supplies to the LED? (might be different depending on the color) - I would take a multimeter and measure it but I don't have the rheobus atm.

The LEDs I want to use are the blue/red leds from frozencpu (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ele-51.html) - unfortunately, they don't tell me the voltage rating on those.

Anyone know if you just replace the leds on the rheobus, you would be ok? I don't want to burn out leds. But I know the rheobus has socketed LEDs so replacement should be easy.

As a side note, I know they made several versions of the rheobus - does anyone know if the faceplate layout is the same? I can get one with a blank faceplate but it uses screw connectors. The ones with the 3pin connecotrs have markings on the plate. I could use the blank plate with the 3pin rheobus if the layout is the same :).

    Thanks guys.

Maybe you could put a resistor in there to take the brightness down a little?
Dunno if it will work or not..
