    I got a stable 4.7ghz.

    7m 27.284 | 4.7ghz | i5 2500k | Air | P8P67 | 8gb Corsair Vengeance 1866 9-10-9-27 2T

Going to push for a higher cpu speed next.

    Currently 4.7 @ 1.41Vcore.

JamJester beats me only just xD

    Edit tried 5ghz and it's a no go @ 1.5Vcore.

    But 4.8 @ 1.48 was.

Bit of a quit patch for the last 24h. Anyone done anything?

I still need to work on my score. I recon I can cut of a few more seconds.

I was going to have another go last night, because I think I might be able to shave a few seconds off my time, but I got drafted into the 1st Armoured Present Wrapping Division :sigh:

The penalty for going AWOL is quite severe.

You can be forgiven. Your duty to serve when required in the 1st APWD is far beyond anything on this forum, or your computer.

Due to being the last poster I didn't post my latest results. Will be up soon. I shaved a few seconds off my time.

    5ghz stable now.

Still unable to increase memory speed. I don't know why.

What have you tried when increasing memory speed?

Ultimately I dont know what I need to do to get it faster, so my saying it wont go faster than it's rated clock speed is a mute point.

It is Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz 1.5 Ram. I didn't want to put anymore volts through it, as I simply don't know what would be safe.

Usually to make memory go faster you have to increase the voltage and loosen the timings. Your RAM shouldn't have a problem running at 1.6V for periods.

I will keep that in mind, and here are my current times.

    7m 11.502s | 4.9ghz | i5 2500k | Air | P8P67 | 8gb Corsair Vengeance 1866 9-10-9-27 2T

I don't have results for 5ghz as I haven't run Pi yet. And the gain from 4.9 was minor. I am going to try a short run with increased memory speed.

See if you can get that command rate to work at 1T. Should be faster.

    UPDATE:

    7m 04.234s | i5 3570K | Water | 4800MHz | ASUS Z77 Sabertooth | (2x4GB)Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz (@1800)10-10-10-24-1T

Kneel before Zod  (just keeping those SB-i5 boys on their toes & the IB-i7 :D )

must admit I am finding the SB/SB-e/IB speed and time comparisons a good guide.

Running now 4.9ghz, dropped ram timings a little and 1T Cmd Mode.

Currently one second slower than latest results posted by Amaril. From the loop times posted.

Ok so I went and tried to increase my Ram Memory Speed, and it still isn't playing ball. I don't want to push to many volts through it. But I do have some results from 5ghz.

I would try increasing my overclock, I am going to run some tests and see what my temps are at 5ghz first. Running on air obviously makes temperatures something to keep on eye on.

Nice to see you're having luck with the RAM, what speed did you get it to?

Ninja posted you I think. My ram is rated 1866 I have yet to get my system to post any faster than that. I increased my volts to 1.6 and timings but maybe not enough I have no idea how to overclock ram to be honest.

    Ok!

Hides, I will most likely push my system to 5.1 but no higher.

Funnily enough I was running at 1.51Vcore. Sitting at 5ghz seemingly stable at least when running Super Pi, Geekbench. But soon as I ran Steam I Blue Screened.

I haven't ran IBT etc to see if it was truly stable. Plus I don't need that kind of power as my system usage doesn't require it. Though 4.5 helps with video editing and render.

Might have to :p I just upped the OC to 4.9Ghz and tweaked the timings lower and got this:

Haven't beaten you, but give me time.... Having said that, I am not sure this shitty cheapy board can do 5Ghz without crapping out on me.
