Just searching ebay for a coat after a pretty horrific few days of rain and the name that keeps popping up for me is SuperDry They seem to be extremely popular, is it a fashion thing or are they just that good? Based of the last week i expect a pretty rainy winter, i park further away from college now due to parking enforcement and i don't want to be dripping wet before i start my day. But i still want it to look good on me so no bright yellow anaroks please Any opinions?
Just get a shooting jacket. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007795C...ve=22134&creativeASIN=B007795C1O&linkCode=asn
I got a SuperDry windcheater jacket over 18 months ago and it's been absolutely brilliant - warm, dry, good in all conditions. It does have three zips though which is a little ridiculous.... On the flip side, my GF bought me a SuperDry bag last Christmas and the zip broke after 8 months of regular use - not impressed.
SuperDry are a decent brand and worth paying for. I don't normally go for brands since the majority of the time they are just the same as cheap crap with a name plastered over. The SuperDry stuff is actually decent quality. I love the wind cheaters. Never seen any chav in a SuperDry jacket. They mostly wear generic coats or those f-ing Pauls Boutique coats if they are female.
My dress sense is all over the place to be fair Although i have never seen a chav wearing superdry stuff before, its usually a nice silver stripey tracksuit with matching bottoms This is mainly what im wanting to know Im notorious for not doing my research into brands and just buying something that seems to work for everyone else, then end up falling upon some poor quality hipster crap that falls apart in two minutes. The wind cheater is the one that keeps popping up it looks dry and warm
I dont wear any of the stuff so I cant pass judgement... but it just seems to me that all the hip, cool kids wear them!
I've had a jacket of theirs for a few years now, pretty good quality for their cheapest stuff too. I'll certainly think about buying another, although the 3-zip thing does my head in.
I've got a SD jacket from '07 and its still near perfect. Its been worn everywhere from nights out to working under cars. It was expensive at the time but there's not many items of clothing I've had longer that are still good enough to wear!
They can't afford it. A good thick wax jacket will last you many years. Then you just need a flat cap, jeans, plaid shirt and a pair of hunters, then you will be set . If you just want a good waterproof jacket then go to Blacks.
Well, benefits must be higher around here, I see a lot of 'em in Superdry stuff... to the point it gives me a similar reaction to the ubiquitous Burberry cap...
I'm in the same boat as I was planning on asking for the Arctic Pop for my birthday coming up but would never usually buy such branded clothing. I want something warm for the winter and preferably waterproof. This is why I decided on the Superdry rather than something like this which doesn't look anywhere near as warm as the Arctic Pop.
I've got one of those windcheater ones and after 4 years the zips finally broke, well 2 did.. Also got a damn smart black trench coat from them. Very warm and waterproof. Really hard wearing. You can look like a Chav with some of their stuff, but if you look in the higher price bands, that's where you'll find the good stuff. Sent from the Starship Enterprise I just had a heart attack looking at those prices!! Sent from the Starship Enterprise
