How the hell do you do these great moving avatars. Is there a good program to use and where is the best place to get information on how. I would just like to learn how to do them myself, mainly for my kids computer.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Flash is free... Ahem :p Everything is free!

Flash isn't good for making avatar-style animations, infact flash isn't good unless you're good at animating and drawing, just use something like Jasc's Animation Shop, it's easy to use, and makes gifs.

Not sure if this forum supports flash...

PaintshopPro has a lil proggie called 'Animation shop' which is fairly good for making animated gif's like Super's.

    Cheers,

The great thing about flash is that you can export the animation as a gif !!! but I also find jasc animation shop to be quite useful
