    I really hope that's just being leased like the Murcielago and not tax payer's money. I also can't see how it's going to help...

    That's for persuing car thieves when they decide to try and cross a field. The Suby's will be faster off-road than almost anything other than an Evo anyway! :)

    Well, they may not be as stylish as the Lotus, but the police around my area are now driving some 2.3L 9-5 aero's that'd do some serious damage to anyone they touched and could outrun the above lotus anyway. Nice to see some police forces have their motoring priorities straight.

    Aside from all the speedbumps, the Exige is pretty well suited to UK car chases really, most seem to take place on residential or city streets.

    We don't have the same kind of car chases over here, we have very twisty roads and very rarely do car chases occur on the motorways.
