    Will a Celeron 900MHz processor be fast enough to run DiVX and DVD playback without problems ??

    just out of interest what is the min spec to play divx and mp3? :)

    Divx is about 500mhz to play smoothly with a half decent gfx card but to be safe 600mhz, not sure on mp3 though.

    I've built a linux MP3 player on a PII 233, although I'm certain you can go a lot lower if it's dedicated to it.
