There's no way you can get 1/2" tubing over 3/4" outlets (I mean, come on!). Still you an put 3/4" tubing from res to inlet to prevent cavitation issues. Works a treat on my setup. :D

don't forget they are 3/4" OD not ID - about 1/2" ID apparently...

Cathar got 1/2" ID clearflex over them so it can be done (with the assistance of some boiling water and needle nose pliers...)

3/4" OD fittings would imply 3/4" ID tubing.

not if you're prepared to stretch it by means of boiling water or whatever... ;)

3/4" OD is slightly smaller than the stock 1250 intake fitting (22mm)

My point is that 3/4" OD fittings are not - "about 1/2" ID apparently"

It means the fittings are designed for 3/4" ID tubing.

That's not to say you won't be able to get some tube varieties over with a little persuasion.

8-ball you have misunderstood my post then i think - the 3/4" OD fittings themselves have an ID of approximately 1/2" (according to Cathar....)

it'd be easier with 5/8" or 3/4" ID tubing, but it's not as easy to find...

Ah, I see what you're getting at.

Yes, if you can get 1/2" tubing over 3/4" fittings, then there will be little reduction in diameter passing through the fittings, thus reducing restriction.
