    Which would cool better?
Swiftech MCX462 or Thermoengine with icehole, when used with the same 80mm fan?
Quick reply much appreciated. BTW its or an overclocked athlon 1.2.

As bindi said, No contest. If your mobo can take it, you might want to look at the Alpha PAL8045 as well, which performs very nearly as well as the MCX462, but is quite a bit cheaper.

Cheers, i may go for the swifty then.
What kinda temps can i expect if i am usually at 45 idle, 52 load with icehole, how much lower with Swifty?
And would it still be good performer if i use low cfm fan?

Impossible to say on the info you've given us.

I get 41C load with 23C system temp with my Alpha on my Tbird @1633, so with enough case airflow, and a decent fan on the swifty (mechatronics...deltas are too loud), you should be able to achieve similar (although that is measured from the mobo thermistor, which is not a great representation of true core temp. However, since I assume your readings are on the same basis, you should see some improvement.

    Hi,
sorry i dint give much info, im just after a vague idea. 1.2 athlon @1,4 @ 1.825, under load reaches 52-55 degrees.
I want to use a low cfm panaflo to keep noise right down, but still keep temps down.
But i get rid of pretty lights, so i may leave it :p LOL
    Thanx for the help guys.
