Swiftech storm in the UK?? anyone know were this block can be bought in the uk? also could anyone recomend a 1/2" P4 socket 478 waterblock i could get. Thanks, Andy.
I think it's a couple of weeks before units start shipping anywhere, from what I've gathered. Best idea would be to email current swiftech distributors and register your interest. In the UK it appears that they are: http://www.chillblast.com/ http://www.overclock.co.uk/ Possibly others, but those are the ones listed on their website.
chillblast have apparently got them imported and ready to ship etc, they are apparently stocking atm, and there is no ETA.
the older swiftech blocks are good blocks as well. They tend to like high flows tho. I have a swiftech mcw 5002 and it does well for itself, now my buddy's swiftech mcw 6002 is a better performing block marginaly but thats mainly because he has a higher presure pump. If you can aford it I would go for the swiftech storm but if not the 5002 and the 6002 series wont disapoint you. And the 5002 block dosent need to use the holes around the socket, it can also be cliped on using the existing 478 retention holes. hope this helps.
