    One problem I can see, make sure the tray is closed before you start lowering the drive, or *CRUNCH* :D You should be able to 'tap in' to the microswitch inside the the drive that detects tray closure to do this.

    ok finally. here goes. this will have to suffice for your circuit. it may not even work like it does in my head.

    ok, i know its tiny, but i dont have photo shop installed on my amd64 yet. (but really,is there a need to say "amd" before 64...i digress)

    up/down = 3 stage toggle to raise and lower the rom
    stop sw 1 = switch to stop the servo when the drive is down
    stop sw 2 = switch to stop the servo when the drive is up
    servo = the servo
    pwr = the power lead

    this will probably have to be tweaked a bit, but the idea is this. you push up and the drive raises to throw the stop switch. there sould still be a live connection to make it come down and vice versa. so you are basically running two circuits through one toggle switch.

    its late im tired my brain is fried. if this is more confusing than helpful, then hit me up on pm and ill try to get the idea across to you.
