the bullets travel at a speed just shy of 300mph, I've got a feeling that can do a bit of damage no matter how small they are.
Still, it's only 1.2 joules of energy, IIRC that's about enough energy to lift an apple 1 metre. Although it's fast, the projectile doesn't weigh enough to penetrate anything more than cardboard. In short, .357 MAG = 583 ft. lbs, minigun = 0.8 ft. lbs I'd risk it
Count on the Swiss to reinvent the wheel and make it tiny, and of course absolutely pointless... but if you have no sense and are made of money then why not go ahead and buy one?
That is tiny! You could hide it in your nose or ear (lol)! I reckon they will use these to hijack planes (lol)! Even though the bullets are very light, they still travel very fast.. I reckon these will at least go through clothes + skin. The hard part is probably not loosing it and aiming.
The bullets are just faster than your average airsoft pellet. And they expend less energy on the target than said Airsoft projectile. - H.
The best miniature firearms have to be the matched pair of shotguns given to HM Queenie, they're a pair of Holland and Holland shotguns less than 6 inches long, that fire a small cartridge. They were made for her when she was a little girl for her dollshouse and unlike the Swiss gun (which I think is a hoax) they were entirely hand made. I'll have to see if I can find the old book with the pics of 'em.
i'd want one just for the novelty of it. how long before someone has it hanging around their neck on a tacky gold chain?
