Networks Switch and NIC's

    Ok i need a new switch to connect my comps together as I well be adding more comps to the LAN soon and want the added speed of a switch. Got any sugestions of where to by and 8 port 10/100 switch cheap? Also I need a few NIC cards where to by good NIC cards cheap as well. Thanks Lm

    I got an 8 port switch from scan, 1 port is fecked and on the front it reads pwoer instead of power. Just goes to show the quality of the switch. I suppose I should have sent it back, but the hassle of going through scans customer service dept.

    they don't have a customer service department...that's the problem.


    (no I'm not exagerating, that actually don't have one, something i found out from someone who answered the sales line)

    netgear switch is very good....and only about 68 pounds...

    for nics get 3com if u got the cash or linksys or netgear if youre on a budget....
