Electronics Switch light on and off

Hi guys
Got a problem
I was buliding a circiut with switches, which turn lights off or on.
I tried it on a normal PSU (not PC-PSU) and i works.
Then i found an old AT-PSU which i can turn on or off wihtout a mobo.
But that didnt work
Here is my "circuit" with the Switch, PSU, Junction box (u can ignore this) and a LED.



But there seems to be a short.
Do u think the AT-PSU is damged or somethin'?
I dont know

well that circuit completely bypasses the switch and you did use resistors didnt you?
it should look like this

Yeah i made a resistor in it.
But how can i put a status LED in it?

 

ah shutup cpemma resistors are annoying to draw

yeah a led, which is one ehen the leds in the case are on and off when the leds ins the case are off
