OK well this is how i hooked up my switch for my lcds power adapter (note it runs off 120v)

ok well im retarded, and so i made the mounting hole for the switch but it is waaaaay to tiny for the adapter to fit through so i need to de solder it and make a quick and easy way of connecting, disconnecting, so question is, can i use a molex?

    would this work?

the molex wires can handle 120v right? (its a molex and wires from a psu)

so is that right? that would work right?

    please help me!!

I assume that grey wire in the second picture is the negative lead. If so, that looks right to me.

The molex wires shouldn't need to handle 120v if that's a power adapter - you should only be getting low voltages on that side of the transformer.

yes, if the first pic does work, the second pic will work

however, i doubt your LCD runs off 120v, considering that there is an AC adapter. if it did, you would not need it. so there is a DC voltage, most probably between 3 and 30 volts going to your LCD thrugh your switch, not 120v AC
