    Hi Guys.

Am finding it such a bother to actually schedule all these system maintenance tasks and to top it all find that some of them dint run properly. Is it just me? Or do you guys enjoy this? I mean imagine you discover in the morning that the script never ran!

huh ! I meant I find is really hectic to schedule task for maintenance programs, like defrag, scandisk, disk cleanup. Then virus updates, windows updates, spyware updates, which have to be done is certain interval are hell of a job. Currently I do it manually and sometime you see most of the task would not have started or completed properly. So what is that you guys do in this case ??

Don't worry about it. You only need to defrag once in a while, scandisk too. Set your virus update to do it at any time, and most of them simply update next time you connect to the web if they fail.

Set windows updates to automatic download and ask before install, so you know what you're getting. Spyware updater just update before you use it.

Sorry for my misunderstanding, lets blame it on the exams ;)

And, like Krikkit pointed out, Windows updates on auto, with asking, most anti-virus and anti-spyware solutions come with their own updater,...

And defrag and scandisk when you notice it getting slow;)
