ok today I put a old (working) mobo and cpu hard drive, pretty much a full system into a differnt case, everything is the same. no new hardware has been added. I power it up and it displays how much ram is there and what cpu it is etc, normal stuff. The next screen comes on with stuff about where ur ram in solt 0 - 1, and what CD rom drives u have. it just stays on this screen :duh: what I have I done wrong and how to I correct it.

    1.2 Duron
    KS75A mobo
    40GB
    192MB ram

check the jumpers on the HDs, and cdroms and make sure they are set correctly for slaves, masters, etc. Sounds like its hiccuping there because something is set up wrong. Like two things on one ide that are both set as slave, or both set as master, etc.

    good luck.

Check the BIOS to make sure it detects all the hardware you have plugged in.
