I keep getting this error message:
This came after the installation and running of TFTPD32 (a free FTP server application). There are two problems with this program:
    1. I found out there is a security hole that allows people to launch code on my PC
    2. I have never heard of it and most certainly did not install this!

This program appeared in my system tray after I got back from working on my computer desk at a friend's house.

I usually click the 'ok' button (the only button) about 15~20 times before it stops for a few minutes.

And I just got rid of msblast.exe! arg! :p
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Sure you don't mean sysval32.exe ?

    It's a Windows file, don't worry.

However a little somethig might interest you :

Seems a similar problem to yours. Hopefully you can clean it out if it is.

And after the MSBlast exploit too, seems you might not be out of the woods yet. :D This what you get for unupdated and unprotected computers. :p

I've found that page, but it responds as though the problem is msblast, which I have already taken care of.

I think it may have been... I'm glad I didn't delete it!

I shoved it into another directory so it wouldn't act as a system file for the time being, and I haven't gotten an error since.

I will soon be re-formatting when I get my new HDD in anyway, I'll just be sure to put a hardware firewall on my list of things to buy for school this semester! :p

Haha, yeah I know what you mean.

un firewalled here right now :worried: plan on getting a nice Linux box running as my server firewall though shortly.

if so, could you post some tips on maybe a project log in the linux/open source threads so others (such as myself) might figure out how to do that as well?

    Of course I will. ;)

Right now I've only got one computer, so if it goes down for repairs, modding, or setup, I lose BiT, but since it'll soon become my server box, I'll be able to use the other one still, which means pretty much a live BiT feed on what's going on and how I'm doing stuff.

And of course when I'm building the new rig. :p
