so I needed a cooler for my ITX board, but the CPU is a little close to the PCI-E slot so I was rather limited in space and height

after looking around the net and finding no list of what is compatible with my Mobo, I stumbled into Notcua's website, while not being the prettiest thing to look at I can certainly commend them for sticking to their guns on the paint scheme.

after a little navigation I found that the NH-L9I cooler looked good, but what I found next took me back a little...Noctua appear to have gone through the Motherboard library and figured / tested to see what is / isn't compatible. This I have NEVER seen before, a full list of motherboards this cooler is combatable with
    http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=compatibility_gen&products_id=50&lng=en

so I placed a nice order with the guys over at Quiet-Pc and next day my order arrived safe and sound

I know Noctua are famed for their premium price tag, but I have NEVER seen a Cpu packaged as well as this nice sturdy foam, everything laid out well almost showcased in the box even a nice little thank you note on the instructions

fitting the CPU cooler was a piece of cake ( or at least I likely could have eaten a piece of cake in the short time it took to fit ) no complicated brackets, fittings, washers, back plates or any of that crap, just apply paste, fit cooler, apply 4 screws job is done
beats the pants off the stock cooler even at full its silent
cpu is I5 760 running at 3.2ghz and idles at 26 degrees in total silence
in short, I love this thing
good shout out to the folks at quiet pc, and Noctua

rare to see a company that puts consumers first

Noctua are just ace. They've always been very kind when it comes to retentions on newer boards.

They sent me two for my coolers for free :)

Got some Noctua fans and though pricy, I've been very happy with them! I also like how they come with the rubber fan holders, plus the rubber stick things to hold the fans in place (instead of screws). On top of that, I also like how they give you the voltage changers for your fans!
