    ive just finished off my new box but have just thought how cool it would be to have it talking, i dont care so much about how bad it might sound but would jus love it to have a face that looked vaguely like it talked anyone know where i could maybe find a program that could help achive this..etc?

    If you're using Windows, your can try Microsoft Agent. I'm not exactly sure how well it works though. It is free, so the price is right! :p

    thank you this seems perfect for what i had in mind and as you say it dont come much cheaper!!!

    Yea, Agent can be tricky. It does work pretty decently, but you've got to screw around with it to get it to do what you want. Remember, it is a Micro$oft product and free - those 2 things don't usually go well togeather! :D

    Use a text-to-speach program and record phrases then set them as your event sounds.

    opps ive gotten carried away lol agent works mint for what i was after originally but ive been messing so much with it ive forgotten what it was i wanted!!!
    I tried making the whole system voice controlled which worked alright until i tried using winamp with it when suddenly i was been drowned out by nirvana :lol:

    ah well u live and learn
