Tapatalk API expired

What do you use as an alternative out of interest?

 

I couldn't browse and post in forums on a daily basis without it, and now it's completely broken for me. It won't update any bit-tech threads yet every other forum still works perfectly.

Please fix it... An ever increasing percentage of my posts are from TT now and I read even more threads using it, both at home and when I'm out.

 

Nothing I just log on via chrome I used to have Tapacrap and I found it annoying, But as I said that's just my opinion.

 

It's bizarre - I haven't seen any messages using Tapatalk HD on my Nexus 7?

 

I looks like iPhone might be an issue as I've seen a few post now about it working for people and all those people are using android based device.

Personal opinions on the application aside, I find it good at keeping an eye out during the day and I have notably been using the forum less as my access to Tapatalk is reduced. No way to access the forums is right or wrong really, just annoyed my preferred way it borked

 

Guys... Seriously, what's it going to take to get this done? I am no longer willing or able to browse the forums 90% of the time because TapaTalk doesn't even allow access now. It's a simple request that would take 30 minutes at the absolute most to complete. Is there nobody in charge of looking after this sort of thing for bit-tech any longer? This would have never happened with Jamie

I've reported your post, Matt Not that there's anything wrong with it, it just means a mod will have to look at the thread now

 

The out of date API only affects iPhone users as far as I am aware, it's still operational on 'Droids for now.

Actually Uni, are you on the new free version of Tapatalk?

Its just that the old version I believe has had its support removed.

Are you running IOS7? I am on a 4S with the latest software and I don't actually get the message. I did previously.

 

iOS 7.0.2 on a 5S, Tapatalk Pro newly installed last night although it was doing exactly the same thing on Tapatalk 2 before that. I'll upload screen shots of it later, the forum name doesn't even come up, it just says "this forum is currently unavailable".

Huh, I fixed it by looking up the forum again and logging in from there instead of using my Tapatalk ID

 

So you're back again now? I'll see if we can re-raise the issue with the IT bods behind the scenes.

 

Yep, working like a champ now, but I had to "forget" the forum and log in again to get it to work. I had tried this with TT2 last night and it didn't work, so they must not be supporting it without updating to pro.

It's good to be back For information, I was absent for several days not just because of this issue but because I was spending a lot of time with friends over the border where I don't get cellular data unless I pay £1.00 for 15MB of it

 

We shouldn't have that issue from 2014 on.it's a welcome change.
