After visiting the forums on my iPhone and being advised that it is now Tapatalk enabled I spent the £1.79 on the app only for me to log in and then..............nothing. It keeps saying that my session has expired, please visit again through account. Is this a common problem or have I just wasted the best part of two quid. Edit/ it seems to only have problems with marketplace, is this due to it having set criteria to view?
Yeah I got that too, I was weary of downloading the app anyway, but if it's having these problems then I'm glad I didn't. I thought Bit-Tech were doing a mobile version anyway. If not, then why not? I'm tired of trying to click on the tiny buttons on my iPod with my fat thumbs.
Sorry, I only installed it today and I've been trying to fix that problem. I'm getting it on the Gaming forum too.
On the plus side it really makes for a more pleasant experience when browsing the forums compared to mobile safari, however will the function to give rep be added at a later date? Edit/ hardware and software forums are giving me problems also.
Thanks to Tapatalk support, all forums are now working. If you spot any more issues please report them here.
Well done Jamie. I hope Tapatalk is giving bit tech some sort of payment for installing this. I can see most iPhone bit users getting this app.
Any way to get smileys to show? Also, I can't figure out how to save images from threads.. Limitation of the app? Otherwise I'm very glad that you got this working, thanks!
Ooh cool... I've been looking for an excuse to buy Tapatalk. This would seem to be the perfect one! Nice one Jamie
Apologies for resurrecting this forum, but I'm considering tapatalk, and I'm wondering if theres a list somewhere of all the forums that use it?
If you download the free version you will be able to search through all the forums that use it (I think). Also, I've just updated the plugin as they've added iPad support.
I've been using tapatalk for quite a while and tbh even if you spend a lunchtime a day on bit it's worth the two quid, it's also suprising how many forums it does support!
Tapatalk works well, I just wish that there was a way to scroll up to read...a bit like mobile skins for forums. That said, it probably is quicker than using the browser. Just wondering, is the Android app still in development or is that now a dead project? Using Tapatalk works well, but to have the Tapatalk base with the site as well would work nicely. If not, is a mobile version of BT in the works? Sent from my Desire HD
