I am on a home network with 3 other pcs. We can all see each other and share files and play 1.5 (cs) but when it comes to any Lan games that use tcp, my pc just refuses to find any servers. I have been trying in dxdiag and it can not find the chat room even though the other 3 pcs can. This is also messing up my steam as that uses tcp over the net. Any ideas? :wallbash:

Firstly, what version of Windows are you running and what kind of hardware are you networked through (hub, router, etc.)

connected through a switch (which is connected to a ethernet modem which acts as a router)

goto each one, type "route print > c:\diag.txt" and paste the contents of that file, sounds like it could be a simple problem.
