[RANT] I have this one teacher who is an a** to nobody else in my chem. class but me. I don't know why this is, but today he went too far. At my school, we have three bells: the end of class bell, the warning bell and the class is started bell. My chem teacher (let us call him mr. T) seems to be under the impression that class starts at the second bell. So, today, when i show up for class 10 seconds (seriously, it was 10 seconds) after the second bell, he refuses to let me in and tells me to "get out of here". GRRRRRRR!!! Unfourtunately, this is not the only incident. Just last week, we had to do a test. This test was in two parts. He gave us the written and the second part of the multiple choice (ie. 46-83) the first day and the the second day he gave us the first part (ie. 1-45) of the multiple choice. He also did not specify which number to start at. Since he gave us the second part first (BTW he didn't tell us it was the second part either) I started putting my answers down starting at 1, and not a 46. The next day, he gave us the "first" part of our tests back, already marked. Lo and behold, he had marked the number of mistakes, in red, on the top right corner of the test. Mine said -37. Of course, I moved all my answers to where they should have been, and completed the test. I got 59%. I should have gotten 86%. I've been thinking of taking this up with the principal (a really great guy), but I can't really bring myself to talk the Mr. T about it ( He outweighs me by what appears to be an order of magnitude and really doesn't like me ). [/RANT]
do what i did to my physhics teacher at the end of the year, "your a prick face it, you use your rubbish job as a teacher to boss kids around, wow your big and strong bullying little kids, go do something with ur *** life" he shook my hand and said i had balls, the guys 6"4 though and built like a pro wrestler. lol
I think college is the way foward, all of the teachers are called by first name, and are really great people (at least mine were ). I only had one i didnt like, and only one i had difficulty understanding. Hello Peter Decan if you are reading this <<<--- A Cool Teacher
kergareth, speak to the principal about it. If he/she doesn't do anything about it, demand the number to the school board and state that you will take it up with them. Don't be afraid of the power. These people are getting paid to treat you like an adult and to assist you in learning. I personally find it a farce when any teacher starts to even think they can boss you around. If you can play your cards right, you can get transferred to another class, get the teacher reprimanded, or even fired. Schools do not like legal action
Mr. T? Goddam, shut up and take it sukah! Quit yo' jibba jabba! I love it when a plan comes together... Seriously tho, talk to the principal, but make sure you have more than 2 incidents up your sleeve. I had an IT teacher that had no respect for me at all, and accused me of cheating on a test. I spoke to the principal about her poor teaching methods and victimisation, the next day and the rest of the year, she was my "best friend"....
Were you the only one 10 seconds late? Maybe you should arrive 10 seconds earlier, although a bit harsh (unless you continually arrive late). How about you shock him by being early for a while, and see if that calms the situation down.
And it's this kind of arrogant "you're only a teacher so I'm better than you and have the right to be rude to you" attitude that leads to teachers being arseholes in the first place. You should be thankful to have any teachers at all rather than telling them their jobs are "rubbish". Sam
