The update is already out. Has been since the 11th. Didn't know about the in game browser though. I wish more games offered this, especially MMOs.

Half of the update is already here, some of it, not. Like the enhanced multicore support from the L4D engine, and such.

The class stuff is already out.

    This would be awesome.
L4D uses 70% of ALL 4 CORES on my Q6600, TF2 uses 100% of one, about 10% of another, and sometimes has a little struggle with the standard 2.4GHz.

Honestly? I've never had a problem with tf2 on my old athlon x2 4400, i can't see how your Q6600 even breaks sweat.

My e6600 has no problems either, everything maxed 1680x1050.

But back on topic --> I stopped playing because it got a little bored and I was stressing out heavily after they upped the 'meet the heavy' (I hate it when everyone at once is going for achieves). But I recently started playing again, lol I'm hooked again XD
This update is kind of stupid though as they better waited for 'meet the...' to put up.
Still best game ever, no doubt!

in game browser is a big plus for me, since i liked it a lot as an add on in Garry's mod. I'm not the biggest fan of team fortress 2, but i enjoy the game still. And I've ran team fortress on a 1.50ghz p4, with a 5200. couldn't render textures but it ran. Runs flawless in my own system tho.

I want my Meet the Pyro!

Some people have noted that the update which added more particles to the screen has made the game a bit slower. Every time an enemy is on my face, the game slows down. Even with the minimum settings. I really need to get a new pc.

In-game browser? I'm in, I have lost count of the amount of times that this would have been useful. The spy and engi updates are quite helpfull, helps turn the tide, especially in instant spawn servers, some maps are now winnable. I haven't seen the later levels in Dustbowl other levels where there are several stages for a while due to playing on one server exclusively.
