    A "right"? Really?

Tbh, I've never seen any info on vaping (good or bad), so cant really comment. What I have seen is vaping being promoted via brash and colourful advertising which is quite often sexualised. Usually accompanied by some statement about how its "good" for you.
The latter is where it gets tricky (and its not limited to vaping); for anything that is new, we cannot say definitively what the long term effects, good or bad, are. As such promoting it with a positive health message is misleading (unless, as it can be in the case of vaping) it is caveated in comparison to something else (vaping to smoking).

It could be argues but yes, I see vaping as a right I currently possess in the absence of prohibition. This regulation would restrict the market to the extent that this right would be compromised.
Having said that, it's not really important in context as it only represents my motivation.

The flyer from EU Commission I liked in my first post is a good example. The wording is designed to create an effect, it is a promotional piece to facilitate their views and goals where it should be evidenced, contextual and written in language which does not mislead a casual reader.

I'm going to try my best not to get too involved here, after all racism and weed are already coming into the equation... :wallbash:

Anyway. Just over a year ago I gave up smoking roughly 10-15 hand rolled cigarettes and went onto the electronic equivalent. I have used basic disposables, ego style kits, VV/VW batteries, mech' mods, drippers and so on. Most importantly I have put a lot of research into, and made, my own liquid.

For my age I was considerably unhealthy, had bad blood pressure and resting heart rate. I struggled to climb stairs without getting out of breath and smelt like an ash tray. Since moving over to vapourisers my heart rate has lowered considerably, my blood pressure is back to normal (considering some hereditary problems) and I am able to carry out spontaneous exercise with little to no side effect. I am able to breath better, take in better smells and taste better tastes. Putting aside the 'hobby' side of vapourising that I once took part in, it has also saved me a considerable amount of money. Especially when I mixed my own juice. I also smell like beautiful fruits and tasty desserts. Mostly custard. :thumb:

At no point have I dieted or carried out any extra, regular exercise that would contribute towards my increase in health. It is all down to the vapouriser.

With the exception of nicotine (a relatively harmless, addictive drug) the liquid and subsequently produced vapour contains harmless ingredients that are found regularly in food items.

I am statistical proof that they benefit your health from the moment you start to use them. I care not that someone thinks it looks weird, a lot of you look weird to me. I completely respect others not wishing to be near it, I will never smoke it inside (unless it's some kind of vaping shop/cafe) a public place and try my best to go to smoking areas when using them.

All I know is that whenever I've tried a friends they've just made me want a proper cig far more than if I hadn't used them.

(Not a real smoker, 10 a week is about my average)

That being said, my friends who've been 20+ a day smokers and wanted to quit found them to be brilliant, and most that went the E-cig route as opposed to cold turkey were sucessful in quitting/lasted an awful lot longer.

I used to find that a lot of this was down to the ecig in question. The older, less powerful ones and the ones that look like a cigarette had the same effect on me. However, since February I've been using either a Kanger Aerotank Mega or Subtank and either tank works fine as a total replacement. In fact, I think I'm now in my longest period without a cigarette since I started 12 years ago.

My experience has been the same. I remember when the first tank fill systems came onto the market and changed the experience overnight, compared to the cigalikes (which are a lot better now but still unlikely to satisfy most smokers)

It explicitly includes any commercial product designed to vaporise Eliquid, it will cover batteries and charging safety too. It covers a leak free tank and requires that you have spill free refilling.

There won't be a 0mg eliquid product sold with an unregistered vaporiser legally because you could just circumvent; all hardware will have to comply and therefore it doesn't matter if you're not vaping nicotine.

Also, there's been a lot of comments about whether the TPD will go into law at all, or will suffer changes before it goes live.

    Changes: probably.
Blocked: unlikely. I think we all suspect that big tobacco is lobbying for it.
    Delayed: who knows, maybe?

Ultimately it won't really matter if the TPD goes in to EU law on time or not, because the UK Government is working on its own regulations and controls which will go in anyway in 2016 and its to that standard we'll be accountable.

In our shop, Vanilla Custard and Rhubard and Custard are two of our biggest sellers.

There are not many brands of Eliquid around who don't have at least one really good custard flavour in the line up!

My general assumption is that once you've been on 0mg for a little while you may as well give up entirely!

Depends on how much you enjoy vaping I expect.

A guy I was around recently had been a vaper for a couple years & said of the health benefits he's experienced from the switch & only puffed on it when I was smoking so likely still misses smoking, vaping very effectively disables the craving.

I'm almost 3 months smoke free & will likely be the same, I have over a year supply of really nice e-juice as well. :D
