ok at what temp does it become bad for my processor to be running at and when i shut down or restart the first time it trys to start my screen stays off then i turn it off and thurn it on again and it works. Why? and hhow can i fix
Hey, if yr computer's running fine and all is well, there's no real need to worry about the temperature of certain components. My overclocked Mobile Athlon 2500+ maxes out at around 60 degrees celcius sometimes, yet my computer is completely stable for hours and hours at a time. I wouldnt fret (unless of course you are having major heat-related problems). Your post was a little vague on a few points The issue with yr monitor may be something to do with it's 'power saving' mode. When I start or restart my computer, the monitor always switches itself off briefly before re-initialising itself. Does it not come on at all? Maybe you could give us a few pointers to try to help you along (ie: does the power LED on the monitor change colour when your computer is restarted?) This may help us get a better idea of yr problem. Good Luck
ok i have a athlon 64 3200+ not overclocked and it runs in the 50-60 degree celisius range but it is very unstable sometime i wont make it past 15 miniets before i have to reboot and it says phsycal memory dump my moniter is fixed as long as i not overclocking it (good for now)
If im not mistaken that is a little to warm for that chip. I dont even hit 60C when my heatsink is off. My system idles at 22C and under load its 32C.
yeah but is beeing that unstable ok for a athlon 64 3200 i have athlon 64 fx 63 in my moms alienware downstairs and it has ever had a problem
Im assuming you hand build this system with the A64. The Ailenware is designed to have a good airflow and cooling system for the processor. I Really think you should upgrade the cooling on the A64 because 60C is to hot IMHO for any chip.
