    my temp dosn't work on my MOBO. The thing fell off that reads it. Its like a strip of plastic with wires in it. Should i just resolder it back on?

    If you're feeling lucky, you can try. It's probably surface mount which is very hard to do without the proper, $800, equipment. It's better to just leave it.

    alright i think i'll just leave it. Not to important at the moment. I don't feel like screwing up my only MOBO. Thanks

    Description sounds like my MSI socket A thermistor probe, but if its "fallen off", chances are the wires are broken.
