TV Shows Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Just watched the last two episodes of this run, and overall I'm very impressed with this show. Yes it has made a few stupid decisions (headless terminator) but a excellent adaptation. I just wish it wasn't on Fox so it could get a decent run next time out.

 

Hmm, you just used the words "Fox" & "next time" in the same sentence.

Its not too bad actually, I agree about the headless T800 being a bit dumb but on the whole I'm quite enjoying it. No word on whether or not its been renewed for a second season in the US as yet.

 

It's ratings were too strong for Fox to can it.

It will be back. (couldn't resist)

Anyone watching the new Knight Rider???

 

Nope, not yet, I heard that he new Flash gordon is reeeaaally bad though, anyone seen it?

 

Knight Rider was fair (includes Hoff cameo near end), except they switched the TransAm for a Mustang.

Flash Gordon is indeed reeeaaally bad. Dale & Aura are hotties, but no sparkler-powered spaceships.
Instead, the show uses Primeval-style wormholes and characters walk to/from Mongo!

 

I finished watching the first season last night. Despite some of the more stupid moments (headless terminator cheezcake!) I enjoyed just seeing more Terminator stuff on TV. Plus I just adore Cameron's bluntness, it's the highlight of the show imo.

"Hey, nice car, is it yours?"
"No, it belongs to the man I just killed and shoved in the trunk."

Made me titter.

 

I gave up watching this after 4 episodes. It just doesn't have the punch the movies offered

 

Yeah, but having seen an episode for the first time just now (I came to DVB late), Summer Glau plays her a bit too wooden. I'd like to think that Skynet has tweaked its human interface algorythms a little bit since the Terminatrix.

 

Your getting the wrong impression off one episode Nexxo, there are some really touching moments for Summer, especially in Season 2.

Glad to see that this show has been picked up for it's back 9 episodes, the second season is far stronger than the first.

 

Seriously? I think the first season was much better than the second has been. There hasn't been enough action so far in the second season save for like one or two episodes.
