Well the Eurovision is on, and I thought I'd list Terry Wogan's bad qualities, please add to the list: 1. He's not funny 2. He's racist 3. He gets jobs that good presenters who deserve the cash should get 4. His hair
Terry Wogan is a pathetic loser who should have retired form "showbusiness" long ago... Anyways, how come the Eurovision song contest has been kept a secret this year - it's normally a big ultra-publicized thing isn't it, or is my memory failing me again..?
He just likes the sound of my own voice, and he does my head in. Not watching the Eurovision though, didn't realise it was on. Mate bought an X-Box yesterday so been playing on that constantly. (DoA Beach Volleyball r0x)
I love Terry on Eurovision, he's the only reason to watch it! I love his stupid comments about the foreigners, they usually deserve them
A sham of a mockery of a disgrace of a pile of sh*t I have to say it: WE GOT MORE THAN THE UK!! Unfortunately, its probably due to the war. Which I think is totally unfair, its a contest of skill (ha! what skill?) not a way to politicaly 'snub' those with opinions you dont agree with (BTW. I didnt agree with the war either, but I still think the UK didnt deserve that treatment). I didnt watch it all, but I have to say what I did see, I didnt like: The winning country, is it just me or was the main singer always snarling at the camera, or is her face just stuck like that? Germany was one of the only countrys whos singers ACTUALLY HAD VOICES!!! the rest couldnt hold a candle to 'em. Including the winners. Ireland: if we werent a joke before, we certainly are now. WTF is going on, sending some fool with the name "Billy Joe" to represent us? I'd rather we didnt enter at all! Terry Wogan: the fool is Irish, why is he comentating for the UK people. Let the British people comment on it. I dont care how funny the guy is, hes Irish and thefore his views do not refelct those of the general public of the United Kingdom. Besides, I want someone else, his dry wit is getting on my nerves after all this time (why dont I watch the Irish one, with an Irish comentator? 'cause I'm not an idiot.. you should see our lotto, its got a transvestite! ) Next year we have to endure TWO DAYS of this rubbish. gah!
i think terrys comments on nexts years changes speak for the majority of the UK <eurovision person> Next year there will be changes to the format <Terry> What? <eurovision person> It will be run twice a year <Terry> Are you mad? and besides, would eurovision be the same without him? to call him a racist for his comments is a bit strong. Afterall, there are jokes in every nation about just about every other nation. The french use the word 'Englais' to insult people, (*thinks how to put this politely*) coloquealy it means someone who who partakes in a 5 knuckle shuffle, literally it translates to 'English'. funny what one country can get away with in seriousness and one cant get away with in jest.
Terry is THE MAN! He's got a radio show on Radio 2 in the mornings aswel, I think. If I were up early enough, I'd listen to him. He's much less annoying than plastic-faced Chris Tarrant.
I just think that some of his comments are rather extreme in their political correctness, and I'm not quite sure how the BBC let him say them.
Political correctness is overrated and hypocritical. How comes its fine for anoyone in the world to call people in Britain "Brits", but considered derogatory and racist to refer to people from Pakistan as "Pakis"? Not that I would use either phrase, you understand. I just fail to see why one is fine, and the other is "racist"? Anyone?
how is he racist?!?! and also how come russia got to use Tatu, they have been #1 in a few countrys so isnt that using a "famous" band?
