    Yup, stupid me realised this first time I powered her on :duh: - lets say it was just for testing, yeah thats right :worried: :hehe:

    Cpemma, A guy at work showed me how to work the figures and I was going to use a 1/8W…too small? I found a guy that as a bunch of 9109s for $14, so I thought I would split the test unit up into two. The PSU will go in one case and the vari in another case. I’ve decided to make them both portable units. I did look at the data sheet for 350 and there is a nice schematic using a LM301. Variable V & I. 9109 only delivers 24V but that should be enough for me.

    Thanks for taking the time to show me my error… :D Electronics does not come natural to me so its taking longer to get the hang of it. :miffed:

    Diskreet, I’m looking at gauges right now and I’m also trying to decide whether to make the PSU box fully functional, for testing MB setups or scale it back to just testing 12V-5V
