    Hey Stuey,

    I've been thinking to buy this lens also and I know it's good for what it's originally meant for (macro that is)

    But could you take a few portraits with the lens and post them here. Crops of eyes and clothes (if the focus is on them) would be great.

    I've read that it's decent for portraits as well, and the autofocus is made a lot easier by being able to avoid the macro range.

    I'm pretty busy this week, but will try to take a few test shots if I can. In the meantime, I'll PM you a few links to others' portrait shots with this lens.
