No that isn't the size, thats the viewing angle. It's the tilt, from which u are looking on the screen. Hope i helped u
I don't think you did help him, considering angles are measured in degrees or radians, and degrees2/radians2 would be a very odd unit to use... 170*220 most likely means that it is 170 pixels wide and 220 pixels tall, but since there are no units, it could also be the physical size - i.e. 170x220mm etc.
No way that could be viewing angle, unless this is for some magic LCD that's viewable from both sides. I'm not entirely sure what the numbers mean. I thought it might physical size in mm, but that only makes an 11" screen, which doesn't really make sense for a new LCD standalone monitor (laptop screen yes). So unless this guy coughs up a link, we'll just have to keep scratching our heads.
That'd be the pixel resolution as steveyG said. Also it sounds like a display (mobile phone/camera) that one can't hook up that easily (i might be mistaken), so before you buy it check how you gonna connect/drive/use it.
seems to be number of pixels on a mobile or camera display. 170x220 pixels is pretty much the standard for normal cellphone displays.
