    Great list and Thief 2 deserves to be top of the stack even though visually dated today it is an absolute classic in every sense of the word

    Thief 2 really knew how to reward the player when it came to maintaining stealth. Benny and the noble family guards alone were the best comic relief I've had in a long time. Interrupting those conversations would have been a crime against humanity.

    An interesting article of which I've only played 2 and didn't enjoy them. I love the idea of a stealth game, I just don't seem to enjoy them when I play them.
    Being honest, this is probably because my definition of stealth means entering a room with guns blazing having not first thrown in a dozen grenades.

    I did play stealth games when I was yonger (and enjoyed them). As my gaming time is far more limited now, I tend to play online multiplayer stuff with friends where we can just muck about and have a laugh.
