First off i would like to say hello to everyone here @ bit-tech, and thank you for the hours of reading you have provided to me. (Everyone who's posted here lol not just the team ;) )

ive been modding for over a year now and well ive gone as far as i can so im going to watercool one of my systems. i talked about doing this a little over a year ago but forgot about it... well now its time.

ive spent the entire day reading review after review, guide after guide but im still @ a loss. all the reviews say (Generaly) the same thing. i have yet to find the definitive "BEST" products out there. ive also checked out a bunch of so called kits. but im still stuck.

like any modder/overclocker im torn between performance and apperance. so im send this request to all of you with knowledge in the area. if you were going to buy components for a socket A (Athlon XP 1700) system what would you buy? or just simply tell me what the best is. no need to provide links i dont want to take up more of your time than needed.

again; thank you EVERYONE for the endless supply of knowledge you have supplied for myself and everyother human out there!

I'm shortly undertaking a simple water project and documenting it here in the forum with pictures, links and all the good stuff newbies will need or afraid to ask. The whole project will be up for discussion perhaps changes if they are needed but everyone will be able to contribute if only just to support. It's taken me 3 months of planning, loads of emails a few phone calls and a good old chin wag or 2 with me old M8 (TiTch) the tree huggin hippie ;) You never know it might even make it to the front page.

    The Project detail:

1 block to start with, GPU and MB to follow
    Reservior/vent/top up: Spawny MOD
Enclosed vented solution: Spawny/Surfing dude MOD
    Fan Control system: APS2ooo
Separate power solution: Still working on some ideas
    I/2” connections

I have been all over the net tracking down bits and coming across new ideas and hardware solutions. Not sure if they will be used but certainly share the information as it comes into the GiBTEK lab.

BIG thanks to the guy's in the forum and especially TiTch for bouncing around some ideas and listening when it maters.

    Watch this space

outstanding. thank you gentlemen for your input. and Spawny; do you guys over @ gibtech sell the APS 2000 to the states? looked around a bit but never say wether you did or not. also if you have done so in the past could you let me know what a rough estimate of the total cost (with shipping) would be. if ya dont know off the top of your head ill do the research.
    ciao

Phphear, as you are in the states you will also have the advantage of going to www.dtekcustoms.com who are the fore runners of the 1/2 bored system. Their systems are a lot better than the likes of DD and they will be able to give you a lot of very good information. Certainly their radiator and shroud system is the best at present and they are soon to produce a new block which looks leagues above anything else that there is. The Maze 2 - 1 is the best other aulternative at present.

Lastly the DD heater core is very much like the big momma with its twin chambers and once again is simular to the dtech customs and is the style to look for.

    Best of luck

Though they are sites you must have been to, just in case I visit the likes of.
