i sing, does that count? i have a very unique vocal style. like to do lindustrial vocals but its still a unique vocal style even for industrial/goth. so does singing count?
Ok then. I play the viola (grade 7) and no I don't mean the violin I play the trombone (currently working on grade 7) I sing Bass at the moment but I've been singing since I was 8 so I've worked my way down! I did a load of chorister awards as well. I've taught myself the bass guitar (I like to think I'm very good ) Piano/keyboard. I got to about grade 3 and then gave up lessons, now I just play for fun. Taught myself Bflat bass ages ago (bit like a tuba) and played in the school band but gave up when I started the trombone. I'm also teaching myself the guitar at the moment. I've got a digereedoo that I can make nice noises with (debatable whether they are nice or not I suppose) but I can't circular breathe yet so I can only last about 20 seconds I love music. It's my life really. I'm in a group or band or orchestra pretty much every day at the moment!
May buy a guitar soon... Possibly a Les Paul or an SG. Not sure yet, if people have recommendations and what-not, please let me know
music is my reason for living, i play: sing, guitar, bass, keyboard/piano, digerydoo (spelling?), synth type things. all self taught, i love to learn but hate to be taught, plus ive been told on guitar that im better than most ppl whove been playing as long as i have, (shame about the rest of the instruments)
I've played bass for almost three years I think (Sadly I cannot remember what year I bought it, haha, it might well be two), Acoustic and electric guitar (learning), Basic drums (Soon to carry on with that) and yes, my cheapy dijerydoo (spelling?) People say I can sing but I don't like doing so publicly. I love music (I cannot read it though) which is why I'm doing music Tech at college soon. If any of you guys are in a band check out rock3.co.uk we run 5 net stations (all but 1 for broadband, sorry) The 56k stream is dedicated to UK bands, we get many demo cd's from record companies and we play the bands music on the stream , feel free to email us and let us know about yourselves, check out the site, it's not brilliant but it's not too bad.
I stand around with my strat looking cool. Whether I actually have any playing ability anymore is doubtful, but it's nice for attracting the ladies, and it sort of adds to the anime image i go for.
can you circular breathe? i didnt think so . . . im not very good at it my self but im learning and it was a choice between acoustic guitar and didge and everyone else learns the guitar so i decided to be different
dude dont wanna burst ur bubble here but actually living in australia i can tell u any 1 can play the didge it really isnt that hard once u no wat to do hell a bunch of drunk bogans where playing the didge at a party i went to the other week
I can't play the Kazoo I can play Didge though :supafly: (that should SO be a smiley) I could circular breathe before I knew what it was *n
we should have a forum for bit tech members musical projects, i know my project could do with some exposure, nothing to put out yet but building hype is a good thing. =) still working on stuff but nothing recorded really
If somebody would speak up, I asked about working on a collaboration. I just don't think there is much interest.
