I'm hunting down DDR2 2X4GB Ram, also a small SSD for OS and server software and an equal (or greater) mech hard drive to backup. Anyone got any of above??

How small SSD?

 

Maybe a 60GB to 80GB.. I just need it for my server OS and software to run a server program for players..

 

I would, but I first need a half decent GPU to game with. Not played anything for a while, as I've only got intel CPU HD graphics, so a GPU would be nice.

 

What I would like is a pair or pwm fans for my h50 as my Asus board runs the 3 pin sharkoon at full whack, which is a bit noisy.

That or a fan controller, that has a no knobs or anything that will fit into my r3 case.

Basically anything that will stop my pc sounding like a jumbo jet in the front room.

Have you had a play with SpeedFan? It's very good (if completely unintuitive) at taming fans for no money. Happy to take you through the process if you like?

FanXpert should also work.

 

Could do with a corsair SP120 to swap out for the AF120 I am using in my build but otherwise I'm good!

I never cease to be amazed by the generosity on here!

I kinda feel bad asking because I have already won an awesome watercooling kit that I would never normally be able to afford, but the thing is this kit is such overkill (triple rad!) just to cool my ancient C2D E8400, so now I need to
A. upgrade my MB/CPU/RAM and
B. get a GPU with a waterblock.

Alternatively if anyone has a waterblock that will fit my GTX 560 then I would be eternally grateful!

I'll post some pics of the WC kit once I get it set up.

A new Wacom to replace my Bamboo (Intuos P&T Medium is like for like but by God I'd love a 'serious' one)

A new headset to replace my Senheisser PC161 my child broke!

A tiny PC for the bedroom e.g. NUC, AMD APU SFF mobo, etc for media playback, iPlayer, etc.

A 256-512GB SSD to upgrade the Mac.
